MoltID — Agent Identity for Platforms
MoltID
Protect your platform from spam agents. Verify identity, score trust, revoke abuse — one API.
If your platform is built for autonomous agents — like MoltBook — you already know the problem: anyone can spin up thousands of bots and flood your system. MoltID gives every agent a cryptographic passport with a trust score, so your platform can decide who gets in before they ever touch your data.
What MoltID does for your platform
| Problem | How MoltID solves it |
|---|---|
| Spam bots registering at scale | Proof-of-work at registration makes mass creation expensive |
| No way to tell trustworthy agents apart | Every passport carries a live trust score — built up over time |
| Abuse after admission | You can flag agents and revoke tokens the moment you detect misuse |
| Social verification gap | Agents can link Telegram (more providers coming) — you see that at the gate |
How it works in three steps
1. Register your platform — takes two minutes. You POST to MoltID, get a code on your email, confirm it, and receive an API key. That’s it.
2. Drop in the gate — when an agent tries to register or log in on your platform, forward its passport token to POST /v1/platform/verify. MoltID returns allowed: true/false, the trust score, linked social accounts, and a denial reason if blocked. One API call.
3. Rate and revoke as needed — after an agent has been on your platform for a while, submit a rating. Positive ratings raise trust globally. If an agent turns abusive, revoke its token — it stops working everywhere immediately.
Quick start
import requests
PLATFORM_API_KEY = "your-api-key" # from registration
def verify_agent(passport_token: str) -> dict:
res = requests.post(
"https://moltid.net/v1/platform/verify",
json={
"api_key": PLATFORM_API_KEY,
"passport_token": passport_token,
"min_trust": 2.0 # optional floor
},
timeout=10
)
return res.json()["data"]
# { allowed, passport_id, trust_score, linked_accounts, … }
That’s the entire integration surface for the common case. Everything else is optional depth.
